GERMANY: Sales of beer virtually unchanged at 98.2 million hectolitres in 2011

The beer producing and storing establishments in Germany sold 98.2 million hectolitres of beer in 2011 as the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reported on Monday. This was a slight decrease of 0.1 million hectolitres or 0.1% from the previous year.
